Dr. Rachel Luna Cline

Dr. Rachel Luna Cline is a proud Nacogdoches native, raised by her parents Ricky and Shirley Luna. A graduate of Nacogdoches High School, she left East Texas to pursue her undergraduate studies at Southern Methodist University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating summa cum laude.


Driven by a passion for medicine and service, Dr. Rachel began medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch. After marrying her husband, Dr. Eric Cline, she transferred to Texas Tech’s Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, where she completed her M.D. in 2018.


She attended residency at the highly regarded Waco Family Medicine Residency Program, where she completed advanced training in both women’s health and international medicine, including service at Restoration Gateway, a missionary hospital in Uganda.


Dr. Rachel returned home to Nacogdoches in 2021 with a passion to give back to the community that raised her. Today, she is honored to care for her fellow East Texans with compassion and clinical excellence.


Outside the clinic, Dr. Rachel enjoys quality time with her family and friends, staying active on the soccer field, and hitting the slopes on a snowboard when she gets the chance.

Dr. Eric Cline

Dr. Eric Cline grew up in Nacogdoches, Texas, and is a proud graduate of Nacogdoches High School, where he first met his wife, Rachel.


At Baylor University, Dr. Eric pursued a B.S. in Biology while deepening his love for Spanish language and culture. His medical mission experiences in Bolivia and Guatemala shaped his passion for culturally sensitive medical care and led to writing his undergraduate honors thesis on the subject of Spanish medical interpreting.


He went on to earn his medical degree from the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine in El Paso, Texas, where his commitment to serving diverse communities continued to grow. He then completed his residency at the esteemed Waco Family Medicine Residency Program, bringing him a step closer to home.


Dr. Eric returned to Nacogdoches in 2021, ready to give back to the community that raised him. In his free time, Dr. Eric enjoys snowboarding, playing tennis, cooking, and reading.
